DescriptionThink design, creativity and real-world situations. Think Shark Tank. Think Entrepreneur. Think business.
Business Innovation is about developing your skills as an emerging business leader.

You will develop products and ideas with a customer focussed approach and have opportunities to interact with the community; presenting ideas, seeking feedback and considering technology. You will be able to evaluate your work and make changes based on research, and stakeholder inputs – a transferable skill. The course uses real world, modern examples and involves a range of visual, verbal and written tasks to deconstruct areas of either a start-up business, or established business. Like real world business activities, assessments will vary to allow you to build a wider skill set.

The course is flexible and allows you to make individual decisions about what you want to learn, through real examples and the opportunity for collaboration.
Subject OutcomesThe key skills that will be developed in this course are:
• Collaboration, communication and ICT skills.
• You will learn how to create engaging presentations, unique business models and write clearly and with purpose.
• You will also develop an understanding of 21st century business and the challenges ICT presents in an ever-changing business world.
