Subject OutcomesStudents will engage in two topic studies:
     Global Indigenous Issues
     Popular Culture (Youth Issues)
Students will gain an understanding of contemporary issues of the World’s Indigenous people. Students will draw on thinking from a range of time and cultures to understand world-views and analyse future challenges.
Advice To StudentsThis subject forms a useful background for the study of Modern History, Community Studies, Tourism at Stage 2. It also helps provide a context for learning across the whole curriculum.
AssessmentA variety of assessment tasks including multimedia, discussion, debate, comparative studies and investigations.
